I have two rottweilers, it’s spring and they are shedding. I have a Dyson animal upright I’ve used for years and been pretty happy with; however I do see (most especially with the stick vacuum version) the particles kick back up into the air, this is what made me purchase the Quantum X. When Fantom came out with the first bagless vacuum, I got it right away. Haven't had a bagged vacuum since because of the clogged bags, poor suction and horrible "vacuum smell". But a water vacuum is the BEST concept. My Quantum picks up absolutely everything on the first pass. It's so powerful, it has incredible, non-stop suction and it cleans and washes the air in my home. I was doubtful at first I must admit, thinking the Shark pet hair vacuum was unbeatable. I vacuumed the carpet with my Shark vacuum then went over it with this vacuum. It seems to have a strong power to suck tiny dust. One thing I feel difficult to operate it is that when using it, the body doesn’t stay still. It swings and requires using my hand to hold it which is heavy.

I like the fact that it uses water, however due to the weight it is difficult to maneuver especially when it is extended, the tank continues to fall to the left so you are continually having to keep the tank part centered on the handle. I emailed you when I received! There was a small snake or worm in the cord and the box looked like it was a return! The vacuum picks up well but it heavy for an older person to use! Also the wheels are very sluggish on carpet! There is not any place to pick the vacuum up for steps, to wind the cord or attachments on board! I tried calling without a call back and no answer to email!

The only issue would be that it's a heavy vacuum cleaner and you need to be able to pick it up at times. It does not come with the stair attachment, which is the flatter, wider brush type option. You can't buy it alone you must buy the 3 piece package and that's another 100$.

It is a good vacuum. It has great suction power even with the hose. The red color is pretty. I love the telescoping feature, however the swivel is a little hard to control when it is out. There are a few things that I dont like about it which is why I cant say I love it. It has no place to wrap up the cord. The handle is ok for smaller hands but for larger it is a little uncomfortable. The wheels seem very cheap. I am afraid that pushing it across thicker carpet wouldn't be good for them. It is also very loud. If I lived in an apartment I wouldn't be comfortable using this vacuum because of the noise.

Having owned and used an Ocean Blue water filtered vac for 15 years, I had definite ideas of what to expect from my new Quantum upright. It is a little heavier than I had anticipated, but I assume that is due to the size of motor it needs to suck up deep down dirt, and it isn't so heavy that I can't manage it. The main reason I got my Quantum vac is because the Ocean Blue people quit making the replacement parts for my old one so I wasn't able to use the power head for my carpets anymore and needed something that would do the job. I am not as enthusiastic about the bag of tools to carry around with the Quantum upright, as opposed to the built-in tool holder that my old vac had, but I can probably adjust to it. Those things aside, it really pulls the dirt out of the carpet and doesn't recycle dust back into the air the way an old paper filter would. The filter chamber comes apart and cleans up very easily. I think it is well worth the price.

I’m a vacuum fanatic! I’ve had light weight Orecks for 20+ years and thought they did a great job. Ha ha! With my new Quantum, hard to believe I thought so much of them. I even have a Dyson for my hardwood floors and use in my RV. This Q has replaced all of those. I love the concept of this vacuum. Two things I don’t care for on the machine is it’s way to heavy and the cord is too short for my liking. This is not a deal breaker, but the reason why I can’t say I love it, yet.

Also it would be nice if it was battery powered, the cord is always in the way and you have to keep unplugging and plugging it as you vacuum.

Definitely different. I like the way it glides across the carpet. Not sure if it picks up more dirt than our old vacuum (hard to compare). However, when i left the water in the sink on too long and flooded half the kitchen, I remembered that it would also vacuum up water. Worked great. Worth it for that alone. Years ago I had a rainbow vacuum which was an awesome machine. But it wasn’t practical for my new home. I was glad when I found this. It really does a superior job. It took a little getting used to as far as weight distribution and handling but once you get the hang of it it is quite an incredible machine. Rugs and floors are super clean as are the sofa and chair. The air in the house is noticeably cleaner and fresher as well. Totally worth it!

You can definitely see it works when you dump the water!! Had Dyson vacs for years. Always had to “lift” them when transitioning from area rugs to hardwoods. This vacuum transitions effortlessly between surfaces. It also vacuums our Ruggables. The Dyson lifted them off their pads and gobbled them up. That said, it’s very powerful and picks up everything.

I tried used the hose the hose broke I called customer service they told me to watch you tube video and buy glue.. Seriously a $400.00 product I should fix? With that I’m returning to find out I must pay for shipping and handling that wasn’t the agreement. Buyer beware product may be good but having to fix my own hose not acceptable granted I was then told they’d send me a new hose still not acceptable after saying they’re having issues with it. We love our shark vacuum, so I figured this would never live up to a shark. Well it didn’t, it surpassed it!!! It’s amazing. We had vacuumed our living room with our shark first and then followed with the Quantum. As you can see in the picture it pulled out more pet hair and dirt. We have a pellet stove so we have some dust. Our carpet looks brand new and cleaner. You can even notice a difference when you walk barefoot on the carpet. When I woke up this morning I discovered a big cat vomit on my carpet. Instead of being upset I turned on my QuantumX and sucked that vomit up. Then I sprayed the spot heavily with warm water, scrubbed the spot with a scrub brush and then QuantumX sucked up the excess water from the carpet. Voila! It took less than 5 minutes. I'm so happy with this QuantumX!!!
I'm also happy with the way it vacuum cleans carpet and for the long hose and tubes that allow me to clean cob webs from corners and baseboards. I love the fact that there's no lingering dust and no vacuum cleaner odor.
I'm loving the water filtration. When the water in the canister becomes dark and heavy with cat hair and other debris, I dump the water in my compost pile, so dumping dirty water is easy peasy. How I used to hate those filthy, dusty foam filters from my former Vac.

I was a big fan of my great grandmother's Thermax as a child for how well it could clean her carpet since she lived by a bunch of fields. Living in Wyoming this has been amazing with the amount of dirt that ends up in the carpet and on the floors. I use some of Doterra's oils in the water (only a few drops) and it helps purify the air while vacuuming. The only thing I noticed that I think could be better is the adhesive on the Quantum logo sticker on the handle as it was coming loose, a bit of 3M adhesive spray resolved the issue.

Can't wait for house to be built to see how it works there! I love no bags, no odor and the scents help the air! This replaces a Kirby and their expensive bags, heaviness, and loud motor. Very pleased woman here!! You won't regret it and my sister in law loves hers too!!
